Andres is moving toward the northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue through the day. A turn toward the west-northwest is forecast by tonight. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 90 mph (150 km/h) with higher gusts. Some additional strengthening is possible today, with weakening forecast to begin tonight and continue through Sunday night. Hurricane force winds extend outward up to 25 miles (35 km) from the center and tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 115 miles (185 km).
