DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Fourteen-E was located near latitude 15.2 North, longitude 115.1 West. The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue through tonight. A turn toward the north and north-northeast at a slower forward speed is expected Thursday and Thursday night. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours, but the depression could become a tropical storm later today. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
