Philippe is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h) and this general motion is forecast to continue for the next few days. Satellite wind data indicates that maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is forecast over the next few days.
