DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 AM HST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Twelve-E was located near latitude 14.5 North, longitude 138.6 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 12 mph (19 km/h). A westward to west-southwestward motion is expected during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is expected, and the depression is expected to become a remnant low in a day or so. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
