DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM HST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Fourteen-E was located near latitude 13.9 North, longitude 120.4 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue for the next several days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Slight intensification is expected during the next couple of days. The system could become a tropical storm as soon as this afternoon or tonight.
