DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 100 AM PST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Twenty-E was located near latitude 13.0 North, longitude 122.7 West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue through today. A generally northward motion at a slower forward speed is expected over the weekend. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next couple of days, and the depression is likely to become a remnant low by Sunday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
