DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 900 AM CST (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Boris was located near latitude 16.9 North, longitude 98.9 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h), and a west-northwestward motion is expected to continue today. Maximum sustained winds are now near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Boris is forecast to dissipate over the mountains of southern Mexico later today or tonight. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches). RAINFALL: The remnants of Boris are expected to produce additional rainfall totals of 1 to 4 inches across coastal portions of the Mexican states of Guerrero and Oaxaca today.
