Blanca has been meandering for the past few hours, and little net motion is expected through Wednesday. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Blanca is forecast to become a hurricane on Tuesday. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
