DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Enrique was located near latitude 20.5 North, longitude 137.1 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 2 mph (4 km/h). A turn toward the southwest is expected during the next day or so, followed by a slow and erratic motion. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Enrique is expected to degenerate to a remnant area of low pressure on Saturday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
