The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 3 mph (6 km/h). A turn toward the north is expected by tonight, with a turn toward the north-northeast by early Monday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours.
