DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Blas was located near latitude 21.3 North, longitude 136.3 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 10 mph (17 km/h) and this general motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the remnant low is expected to dissipate in a few days.
