DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Kay was located near latitude 22.0 North, longitude 119.3 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 8 mph (13 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and Kay is expected to degenerate to a remnant low by Tuesday night.
