At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Kay was
located near latitude 22.7 North, longitude 120.1 West.  The
depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h),
and a gradual turn toward the west is forecast during the next 36
hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Weakening is forecast, and Kay is expected to degenerate to a
remnant low pressure area later today.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
