DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Orlene was located near latitude 19.9 North, longitude 126.7 West. Orlene is moving toward the west near 10 mph (17 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue for the next 48 hours. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and Orlene could become a tropical depression tonight and degenerate to a remnant low on Saturday.
