DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Roslyn was located near latitude 19.5 North, longitude 115.9 West. Roslyn is moving toward the northeast near 9 mph (15 km/h). A turn to the north is expected on Wednesday. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and Roslyn is expected to become a remnant low by late Wednesday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km) from the center.
