The depression is moving toward the west near 6 mph (9 km/h), and this motion with a slight increase in forward speed is expected over the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Marty is expected to become a remnant low tonight or early Thursday.
