DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 400 PM CDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Marty
was located near latitude 16.3 North, longitude 103.0 West.  The
depression is moving toward the west near 6 mph (9 km/h), and this
motion with a slight increase in forward speed is expected over the
next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 30 mph (45 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Marty is expected to become a remnant low
tonight or early Thursday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
