DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 1100 AM HST (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Ivette was located near latitude 17.1 North, longitude 141.7 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 8 mph (13 km/h). A gradual turn toward the west-southwest with an increase in forward speed is expected during the next day or two. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is expected until the system dissipates on Wednesday.
