At 1100 PM HST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Ulika was
located near latitude 12.1 North, longitude 140.4 West. Ulika is
moving toward the north near 3 mph (6 km/h). This general motion
will continue tonight followed by a turn toward the northeast
on Tuesday and Wednesday.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some increase in intensity is expected during the next couple days.
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).
