DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 500 AM HST (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Ulika was located near latitude 18.2 North, longitude 142.6 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 12 mph (19 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue until the remnant low dissipates Saturday afternoon. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Continued weakening is forecast, with the remnant low dissipating by Saturday afternoon.
