DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Greg was located near latitude 14.6 North, longitude 110.1 West. Greg is moving toward the west near 10 mph (17 km/h). A turn toward the west-northwest or northwest with an increase in forward speed is forecast for the next 48 hours. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Some additional strengthening is expected during the next day or two. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
