DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Greg was located near latitude 14.3 North, longitude 112.7 West. Greg is moving toward the west near 10 mph (17 km/h). A turn toward the west-northwest with some increase in forward speed is expected over the next day or two. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
