DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Greg was located near latitude 14.2 North, longitude 116.4 West. Greg is moving toward the west near 10 mph (17 km/h), and a westward to west-northwestward motion is forecast for the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds remain near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Greg could become a hurricane by Saturday.
