The depression is moving toward the west-southwest near 5 mph (7 km/h) and a slow southwestward motion is forecast for the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).
