At 500 PM HST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Norman was
located near latitude 25.0 North, longitude 153.3 West. Norman is
moving toward the north-northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h), and this
general motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 70 mph (110 km/h) with higher
gusts. Steady weakening is forecast during the next couple of days. 
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km)
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 991 mb (29.27 inches).
