DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 PM HST (0600 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Ema was located near latitude 21.9 North, longitude 164.9 West. Ema is moving toward the northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Steady weakening is forecast, and Ema is expected to dissipate by Monday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
