DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 AM HST (1500 UTC), the center of the newly formed Tropical Depression Six-E was located near latitude 11.3 North, longitude 123.8 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 18 mph (30 km/h). This motion with a gradual turn to the west-northwest and a decrease in forward speed is expected during the next 2 to 3 days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. The depression is forecast to become a tropical storm later today. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
