DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Eight-E was located near latitude 14.7 North, longitude 121.2 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 10 mph. A general westward motion at a similar forward speed is expected for the next day or two. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is forecast during the next day or two, and the depression is forecast to dissipate by early Monday.
