DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 PM MST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Twenty-E was located near latitude 13.0 North, longitude 108.4 West. The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 5 mph (7 km/h), and this motion with a slight increase in forward speed is expected during the next couple of days. A turn to the north-northeast is expected to occur by Sunday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual strengthening is expected during the next couple of days, and the depression could become a tropical storm on Friday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
