DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM HST (0300 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Boris was located near latitude 12.1 North, longitude 142.0 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west-southwest near 8 mph (13 km/h). This motion, along with a slight increase in forward speed, is expected over the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours. The remnant low is expected to dissipate in a couple of days. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
