DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 AM HST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Seven-E was located near latitude 18.7 North, longitude 130.3 West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h). A turn toward the west-northwest is expected later today, followed by a turn toward the west early Tuesday and west-southwest early Wednesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some weakening is forecast, and the depression is expected to degenerate into a remnant low early Tuesday. The remnant low should then dissipate by early Thursday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
