DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 1100 PM HST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Kiko was
located near latitude 21.9 North, longitude 152.1 West. Kiko is
moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h) and this
motion is expected to continue for the next few days, while passing 
north of the main Hawaiian Islands. 
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts.
Additional weakening is expected for the next few days. 
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 125 miles (205 km)
from the center.
 
The minimum central pressure estimated from Air Force Hurricane 
Hunter aircraft observations is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).

SURF: Swells generated by Kiko are building from east to west across

through Wednesday, potentially producing life-threatening surf and
